## What are magnetic separators?

          
Magnetic separators remove ferrous metal contaminants from powders, liquids and bulk solids using permanent magnets. Common industrial types are grate, bullet, drawer, pulley and plate magnets. Arrowmatics Magnets supplies these for Malaysian factories, typically in the 10,000–13,000 gauss range for rare-earth designs. ## What gauss rating do your separators use?

          
Rare-earth separator designs we commonly quote operate around 10,000–13,000 gauss at the tube or pole face, depending on type and application. Ceramic/ferrite options may suit coarse tramp metal at lower field.

        

        
          
## Is NdFeB N52 the strongest commercial magnet grade?

          
Among common sintered NdFeB grades for general industry, N52 sits at the high end of energy product (about 52 MGOe). We supply N35–N52. ## What NdFeB grades do you supply?

          
Sintered NdFeB from N35 to N52 in blocks, discs, rings, arcs and custom shapes. Coatings (NiCuNi, epoxy, zinc and others) are quoted per RFQ. No published RM prices.

        

        
          
## What safety factor do lifting magnets use?

          
We size permanent and electro lifting magnets around a safety factor of about 3:1 relative to rated load under stated conditions (air gap, thickness, surface). Follow your crane and site safety rules. See [lifting magnets](/lifting-magnets.html).

        

        
          
## Permanent or electro lifting magnet — which should I choose?

          
Permanent lifters need no power to hold and suit controlled plate handling. Electro lifters need power and suit scrap or remote on/off duty. Share load type, thickness and site power on WhatsApp for a recommendation.
